Good for sanitizing, some small issues

Giddel works pretty well

I got the Giddel Toilet Cleaning Robot a few weeks ago, mostly because I hate cleaning toilets. It's actually pretty good! It got into all the spots and the toilet looks way cleaner. It's not totally silent, but it's not super loud either. It took about a week to arrive. Happy with it.

yeah it should. i have a pretty weird shaped one and it works. the mounting bracket is adjustable for different bowl shapes, you just gotta check the dimensions on their site to be super sure.

how does the giddel compare to something like an irobot braava or even just a good old toilet brush?

It's totally different from a Braava, that's for floors. Giddel is specifically for toilets. Way better than a brush though, no gross splashing and it gets under the rim.

It's not really an 'either/or' with iRobot, those are floor cleaners. Compared to a brush, it's hands-off and does a more thorough job, especially those tricky spots you miss. Less gross too, lol.

Definitely don't let your cat (or anyone!) look directly at the UVC light. It's not safe. You gotta make sure they're not in the room when it's on.

Nah, UVC is bad for eyes and skin, for pets and people. You're supposed to use them in an empty room, or be really careful with the safety goggles if you're like, directing a handheld one. Keep the cat out!

They have a pretty standard return policy, I think it's like 30 days for most products if it's still in new condition. You'd probably have to pay for return shipping unless it's defective, afaik.

My mini lasts a good while, probably 3-4 cycles before I need to charge it again. The germ is bigger, so probably even more.

The germ light is pretty decent. I use it for like 15-20 min bursts and only charge it every few days, depending on how much I'm disinfecting. It's not like you're leaving it on for hours, usually quick cycles.
